In 32nd year of Guangxu emperor(A.D. 1906), He Luhao came back after learning glass manufacturing technique from Japan Tokyo Yancheng Saltpeter Factory(namely: Glass Factory) and established the first glassware factory in ChongqingLuhao Glassware Factory which glassblowing vase, sugar basin, tea service,ect. He was awarded gold prize and the first grade prize in Southeast Asia Labor Union and Panama Competition Commission respectively. As a result, the products got high reputation and were sold well.


In 1938, Li Wenbin and Jiang Xiangchen raised funds and employed Jiang Huizhou and Chen Donghua,ect of Shanghai Industry Glass Factory as well as many technicians in Shanghai and Dalian to Chongqing to establish Ruihua Glass Factory and China Glass Factory. Main products included packing bottle, chemical instrument, daily utensils, ect. Jiang Huizhou and Chen Donghua succeeded in production of pot, emery wheel and crystal materials, which promoted development of glass industry of Chongqing.

In 1948, Kang Shaotong opened Jianguo Glass Factory and adopted quartzitic sandstone melting glass to blow cup, vase and utensils, ect.

After liberation, Beibei Jianguo Glass Factory was taken over by the government and reformed to Beibei Chemical Glass Experiment Factory. In 1952, the factory was reformed to native State-owned Beibei Chemical Glass Factory and under administration of Industry Bureau in 1956 and renamed to Beibei Glass Factory; In September 1965, in order to implement adjustment policy of national economy, Beibei Glass Factory carried out specialized work division. Through nearly one hundred years development, Beibei Glass Factory enjoyed high reputation at home and abroad by high-quality products. careful work develop elaborate product, keep improving build world name brand. The Beibei Glassware Factory, subsidiary company of Chongqing Light & Textile Holding Corporation(Group), has been operating for 50 years as a manufacturer of high quality glassware and glass bottles. Americas Generators got its start in the industrial sector back in 1990.  Our first foray into the generator and diesel generator  industry was selling used generators.   Over time we learned that by stocking generators, we would be able to better meet our customer’s needs.  In 1996, Americas Generators started the first “in stock for immediate delivery” concept for industrial generators.  We started small, with only 30 generators, but that soon grew to a stock of over 200 generators ready for immediate delivery.

Post 9/11 warnings of a terror attack on the power grid seemed to come to fruition in 2003. That was when some 50 million people where affected by what turned out to be the second most widespread blackout in history.  It was a wake up call for many of us.

A group of us decided it was time to buy some generators. Honda was a common name we were all familiar with but, they were too expensive. We found  a similar generator made in China. It cost less than Honda.We received two of them for evaluation and to demonstrate to others. The response was positive.

Collectively the group of us with backgrounds in electrical trades, marketing and customer service, became the largest online distributor of these generators in North America. Unfortunately like many products, the manufacturer started to trade quality for cost savings. We were not happy with the direction this product was taking us.  We had to find another niche.

That niche was diesel generators. Diesel engines have a much higher compression ratio than gasoline engines. Because of this, the strength of parts used is much higher. Since they can last more than twice as long, diesel was far more appealing to us. The trouble was, and the advantage today is, the markets flooded with low quality made in China generators. So many other brands are all virtually the same product with just another name on it.

For Aurora diesel generators to be unique, we designed them differently. We also used higher-quality materials and performed our own quality control. We also added features not found on other products. More importantly, we would prove to consumers that we have a better product. This is how we did it.

Aurora portable generators were submitted to nationally recognized testing laboratories such as Underwriters Laboratories, Canadian Standards Association and ETL. The generators passed rigorous testing for quality, durability and electrical safety codes. The entire unit is now certified, not just a few components. Hardydiesel

Founder Hardy Day grew up in a small town in west Texas Called Knox City. At age 18, tired of picking cotton, Hardy went to Nashville and landed a job picking the stand up bass for Cowboy Copas on the grand ole opera. In the late 50's Hardy knew and mingled with all the best including Hank Williams 1st and Chet Atkins. Cowboy Copas died in a plane crash with Patsy cline in 1963. At the time Hardy had grown tired of a life on the road as a musician and needed a new career.

Hardy found work as a salesman in a business college and soon started San Diego college of business. After ten years or so he so

ld it. With plenty of Time on his hands Hardy was doing a lot of fishing in Baja California. In baja, there is not much electricity available and what was available was very unreliable. In 1977 Hardy was in the market for a Diesel generator for his place in Baja. Problem was there were no Diesel generators available on the market at that time that were reasonably priced. He decided to build his own small diesel generator. After he built his first diesel generator his friends all wanted one. Word spread and before he knew it, he was the world's largest direct supplier of small diesel generators. Only problem was he didn't have much time to fish. Luckily son Loren Day had already taken a real interest in the Diesel generator business. Diesel generators and engines had always been a good fit with Loren. Well before long Hardy was spending most of his time on the beach in Baja and Loren had taken over the Diesel generator business.

Seeing the need for alternative energy, in 2002 son Loren added Hardy Solar . Hardy Solar's primary focus is on renewable energy for on and off grid electric solar systems.
